Bringing Clean Water to the Children of Gaza

Bring a friend as PJALS’ Palestine-Israel Human Rights Committee hosts Ziad Abbas from the The Middle East Children’s Alliance to learn about “Children Under Occupation: Human Rights, International Solidarity and Water in Palestine.”

MECA’s Maia Project (Arabic for “water”) began when the Student Parliament at the UN school in Gaza’s Bureij Refugee Camp was given the opportunity to choose one thing they most wanted for their school: The students wanted clean drinking water.

Consider a donation to help fund clean water systems in Gaza schools.

Friday, February 11, 7:00pm. This event is free; all are welcome. Wheelchair accessible. All Saints Lutheran Church: 314 S. Spruce St. in Spokane’s Browne’s Addition.
