Our thoughts, hearts, and sorrow are with the families, children, teachers, and entire community of Newtown, CT, in the wake of the devastating tragedy of 28 people, including 20 children, shot and killed today in Sandy Hook Elementary School.
A candlelight vigil is being planned for 8 p.m. tonight at the Carousel in Riverfront Park to honor the victims. MomsRising points out today is the 3rd day this week when there’s been a mass shooting in our nation. In addition to sending our love and sorrow to those dealing directly with these horrors, you may choose to support efforts like this, this from MomsRising, and this from RootsAction calling for common sense gun regulations to prevent future horrors. It’s too heartbreaking.
