Build Community Readiness: Anti-ICE Workplace Rights Canvassing Training & Canvass
Help build a stronger, more prepared Spokane by joining PJALS and Washington Neighborhood Defense (WAND) for an Anti-ICE Workplace Rights Canvassing Training & Canvass.
This interactive training will prepare participants to share Know Your Rights information with local workplaces, distribute educational materials and rapid response resources, and practice conversations with workers, managers, and business owners. We’ll also discuss how to engage supportive workplaces in broader collective action strategies to strengthen our communities.
Following the training, participants will head out in pairs to canvass workplaces across Spokane County, putting their new skills into practice while helping local workers and businesses access important rights information and resources.
Already attended a WAND training? Join us again! This updated curriculum includes new materials and additional opportunities to practice workplace canvassing.
