Please join us for for another evening of legislative action! This time, we’re phone banking.
Dangerous rollback legislation is moving through the Washington State House and Senate. This legislation will undo the needed and hard-won police accountability bills that passed during the spring and summer of 2021. Things are moving fast and the status of bills seems to change almost daily, but that doesn’t mean we can’t act. Together, we can pressure our lawmakers to #StopTheRollbacks.
Join us on Wednesday, February 23, at 6pm to 7:15pm to learn more about how we can fight dangerous rollbacks of necessary police reform legislation.
We’ll start with a briefing on the recent police reforms in Washington, explore the backlash and the roll back bills we are fighting together, learn how to craft a phone message, and take time to make our phone calls together! If you’ve never phone banked before, this event is for you! If you’re an old pro, join us and show ’em how it’s done.
We’ll be joined again by special guest Zara Stephens from the ACLU of Washington!
We can’t wait to see you next Wednesday, February 23 at 6pm!
