Position Summary:
Junior Youth Organizers will coordinate the Young Activist Leaders Program with the supervision of the Community Organizer, alongside Senior Youth Organizers. In the fall, Youth Organizers will coordinate a group of Organizing Interns to educate and mobilize young voters through phone banking, texting, and other methods. In the spring, Youth Organizers will lead hands-on workshops on the basics of organizing: the most important knowledge to be an effective community organizer and leader. With other PJALS staff, Youth Organizers will provide young people with resources to advance the social justice causes they care about. Together, young people build collective voice and true community.
