PJALS Winter Shutdown: December 23, 2025 – January 4, 2026
As we close out the year, the Peace & Justice Action League of Spokane will take our annual Winter Shutdown to rest, reflect, and restore. Our office will be closed from Tuesday, December 23 through Sunday, January 4, and we’ll be back in action on Monday, January 5.
During this time our Peacekeeper program will also be on pause to give our honorable volunteers some much needed rest after an incredible year of showing up strong.
This intentional pause is one way we practice what we believe: sustainable organizing, care-centered culture, and resisting the grind that leads to burnout. Rest helps us return stronger and stay committed for the long haul in our work for peace, justice, and collective liberation.
We hope this season offers you warmth, connection, and moments of deep rest as well.
