The Spokane School Board will be voting on a “Public School Resolution Supporting the SPS Student Community Related to Racial Equity” at their meeting TONIGHT, Wednesday, June 10. This is the result of years of work by community leaders, parents and students.
School board members need to hear from community members like you in support of racial equity in schools!
You’ll see the sample message created by Spokane Community Against Racism (SCAR), which you can edit easily. You can read the resolution here. You can also attend the zoom School Board meeting on TONIGHT, Wednesday, June 10, at 7pm by registering here at least an hour before the meeting.
