Americans across race, backgrounds, accents, and origins value our freedoms. We see this authoritarian regime of the bullies for the billionaires invading our cities, abducting our neighbors who are immigrants, and turning our government into a weapon against our people so they can seize more power. In the face of this, brave and determined people across the country are joining together to truly make this the land of the free where all of our families are safe and whole – no exceptions.

In Spokane, on June 11 2025 and many times before and since, we are showing that when they come for our neighbors, our neighbors come out. The federal arrests and charges of 9 protesters show a clear intent to try to silence our community, to attack our right to protest and our right to hold our federal government accountable.

This authoritarian regime is attempting to criminalize our dissent. But we will always speak out for our neighbors and our rights! Many of us are proud to know someone who protested on June 11 and on many days since then. And we know it will take more than protest.

Trials for the 3 remaining defandants Justice, Bajun, and Jac are about to begin. Jac has filed a petition to dismiss the case which will be heard this Tuesday April 14. The defendants are asking that no one protest, but are accepting support in the form of quiet and respectful attendance at the hearing. After the hearing, community members are invited to gather at Waters Meet Foundation at 1020 W Riverside for updates and debriefing.

Let’s show each other how brave and determined Spokane is. We will always speak out and show up for our neighbors and for our rights. Jac, Justice, and Bajun have our support!
