Rapid Response Volunteer Training

Thursday, November 5, 2026 | 10 AM–12 PM

Join Refugee & Immigrant Connections Spokane, Manzanita House, and the Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane (PJALS) for a Rapid Response Volunteer Training.

Rapid Response Teams are made up of local volunteers and community organizations committed to solidarity, teamwork, social justice, and respect for the shared humanity of immigrants. These teams provide on-the-ground support to community members by observing, verifying, and documenting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) activity in their communities.

Rapid Response work is grounded in nonviolence and adherence to the law. Volunteers help document immigration enforcement activity, provide support to impacted community members, and remind individuals of their constitutional rights.

By completing this training, you will be eligible to join Spokane’s local Rapid Response Team. This is an opportunity to build community connections, learn how to respond to immigration enforcement activity, and stand in solidarity with immigrant and refugee communities.
