Estate planning is a powerful way to share what is most important to you and what you value. It’s also a way to impact those you care about most – family, friends, and community. It’s extremely important that all of us make plans for our estates, especially when it comes to the future of how our loved ones are affected by the ongoing injustices and wars infecting our communities, near and far. With proper planning, you can rest assured that your wishes are fulfilled, and likely lower your estate tax, while building a just and nonviolent world that will last for generations to come.
Why create a legacy with Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane?
Since 1975, Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane has been a driving force in promoting social, political, and economic change through grassroots community organizing, nonviolence training, volunteer involvement, education and advocacy.
Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane has created strong networks with local, regional and national peace and human rights groups to initiate change locally and globally and is a well-known and respected grassroots community resource for people who want to create change.
Through engaging everyday people, and creating lasting relationships with members who trust us with their generous gifts, together we are able to take on issues that others in this region believe are too controversial, radical, or not immediate winnable. Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane will take on those hard-won fights because it’s the right thing to do.
PJALS engages everyday people – low-income and professional, young and older, new to action and seasoned, urban and rural – in advancing peace, economic justice, and human rights to build a just and nonviolent world.
